The following terminology applies:

1. MoofMate refers to the MoofMate App.
2. "You" refers to you as buyer of the application.
3. "We" refers to the legal owner of MoofMate, at the moment of writing, Tim Kunst.

Consent

By downloading and using MoofMate you agree to our Privacy Policy. Do not use MoofMate if you do not agree to this Privacy policy.

Data collection

MoofMate only stores data locally on your phone. It retrieves data from your bike like settings, the battery status and the Odometer. It also retrieves your GPS location, for instance for the navigation function. Your location is shared to allow the appropriate maps to be downloaded for navigation. Other than that, your location is not shared. Your data is yours, MoofMate does not collect data centrally, it does not leave your phone.

Background Usage

In order for MoofMate to function properly, it requires an active Bluetooth connection with your bike. You need to grant the background activity permission on your iPhone to enable features like Odometer.
