How do I connect to my bike?
Use your VanMoof account to login. The app will automatically connect to your bike. Make sure to close any other apps that might try to connect to your bike.
Which models are currently supported?
For now the VanMoof S3 & X3 are supported. The S5, A5, S2 & X2 are in beta and will be out of beta soon.
When will android support release?
Android support is currently in development. We are currently awaiting aproval from Google to verify our account.
Does MoofMate support multiple bikes?
MoofMate supports the use of multiple bikes. You can switch between bikes in the garage.
What is speed++?
Speed++ makes the bike believe that it is a X3. This allows you to reach speeds up to 37 km/h on any firmware version. This is only for the S3.
Which versions does MoofMate support?
MoofMate supports all firmware versions.
Please note that the 37 km/h speed limit and Assist 5 mode are only available on firmware versions below v1.7.6. However, for the VanMoof S3, the Speed++ feature enables 37 km/h on any version!
Does MoofMate void my warranty?
Since VanMoof declared for bankruptcy all warranties are invalid. However there are currently no cases reported where someone's warranty has been voided for the use of any third party app.
